Trouble upploading theme from zip to wordpress

Hi anyone!
I just bought a travel theme for wordpress and I have already downloaded the zipfile to my desktop, but when I try to upload it to my wordpress workarea it always fails, does anyone know what I´m doing wrong??

Hi,

Please unzip the file you downloaded first (as its name says), then read PDF file with instructions.
