    HI,
I updated to WordPress 3.5 and the Hot Designation plug in, no longer shows the Big Pic, and the arrows collapse to the side. Please help.

    Website below:

I also had a plain installation on another domain, and it did the same thing after the upgrade.

    Thank You.

    Hi,

You would need to re-install Hot Designation plug-in or better to upload all new plug-in files by FTP (to keep your settings).

Please download the latest version from our site hotwebdesigntemplates.com

    HI,
    Thanks for the quick reply.

I went on hotwebdesigntemplates.com, downloaded the theme again, disabled and deleted the Hot Designation plugin. Then installed Hot Designation plugin again from the new folder I just downloaded, added to the widget, and still the big images don’t show up.

    Please help,

    Thank You.

Ok, now please extract the theme files and upload them all via FTP. Or you can reinstall theme via WP, but in this case you will lose your theme settings.

    Hi,
    I’m having the same problem.
What do you mean by “extract the theme files”?
Are the theme files the “wp_hot_destinations” or the “wp_hot_destinations_hotstart” file?
    Thanks

“extract the theme files” means that you should unzip the package you downloaded from our server and then re-install the theme using the standard installation method. Please read the instructions PDF for details.

Yes, you will lose the theme settings. But to avoid that, you can upload new updated theme files by FTP. Just overwrite all existing theme files. This will upload files, make them 3.5 compatible and keep your theme settings.
