    Hello Support Staff!!

I am in the process of converting my content from an older installation of HotRestaurant (Joomla 1.5) to HotRestaurant (WordPress– I find it easier to work with). I only made a few simple customizations on the original Joomla install, so now I need to convert everything over to the WordPress install. I’ve had some success with a few things, but am finding a few other things to be more difficult. For instance:

In the WordPress theme (used hotstart to install, and just replacing demo content with my content):
    1. I want to change the menu link options in the header menu to my pages, but when I click on user3 in Appearance>widget positions, it opens with only a basic option on the “Customize Menu” widget, with no options to change which pages/posts those links will point to.
    2. Same issue with the “Main Menu” in widget position “Left.”

(Probably more questions later, but I’ll start with those):
Current Joomla install is at palioscafe.com
new WordPress install is at pizza.eyeglasseslabdirect.com

    Thanks!

OK, I figured out that I was looking in the wrong location. I found the correct location in Appearance>Menus, and was able to replace the menu items the way I needed to. There’s only one small problem… on the top nav menu, “behind” the nice menu items there is a small “sitemap” type of listing that has all the same menu items listed again.

    Any idea what’s creating that?

Well, OK. Figured that one out too…. somehow the widget position user3 does not need to have the “custom menu” widget in the position for the proper menu to display!
