Hi Kartika,
Our demo server demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/wordpress/test/?page_id=73 is based on WordPress 3.5 and as you can see the plugin works fine on it.
So, probably something else make conflicts on your site with the latest WordPress, which makes Designation (and maybe some other plugins) not to work properly.
